Experienced Extreme Sporters Get Safety

Published on May 2, 2008 by admin

Every time we turn around, it seems like we’re being told to “be careful”, or “be safe”, and “don’t take unnecessary risks”.

For some people, these restrictions are just too much. (I am guessing that’s true of you.)

Extreme sports are a solution for those people. Every risk that’s avoided seems like a loss for those folks that are extremely adventurous and looking for every possible thrill. Those enthusiasts just get so tired of being told to “watch out.”

So much careful planning and preparation goes into any extreme sports maneuver, and so much rehearsal, that it makes it a lot less reckless than it appears. Nobody wants to get hurt while seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush and authentic thrills that come from conquering extreme sport challenges.

What if you could record your extreme sports adventures easily and safely?

Having video footage of your exploits is not only an awesome keepsake, but it would allow you a priceless opportunity to show your friends and family, who, previously, have only heard the descriptions of how amazing extreme sports can be.

By using a helmet cam and a mini personal digital video recorder to make extreme sports videos, you can record every second of your rush. You can enjoy watching and reliving the experience over and over again. Your friends and family will be amazed and impressed by your abilities.

The Right Equipment

The right equipment may make all the difference in the world when you are considering not only your safety, but the quality of your extreme sports video recordings. A helmet cam, one that securely attaches to your helmet, and a mini digital video recorder that slips into a side pocket while recording, will provide you with a hands-free operation that keeps you safe.

There’s nothing to distract you from concentrating on your extreme stunts. This is critical, since any wrong move can result in injury or property damage, which you probably two things that you are trying hard to avoid!

Nothing is Too Extreme

It doesn’t matter if your extreme sport involves white water kayaking, hang gliding, sky diving, skateboarding, snowboarding, or motorcycle racing, nothing is too extreme to record.

A helmet cam, or bullet cam, with a mini digital video recorder, is the perfect solution. Starting the recording just before you begin, tucking away the DVR, and perfecting your moves will result in the perfect documentation of your event!

Using a mini DVR is perfect if you want to share your videos with your friends and family. They will all be impressed after you burn your videos onto DVDs and watch them on your big screen television.

Imagine how cool it will look as you free fall for a full minute through the air before pulling on your ripcord to engage your parachute!

Invest in a helmet cam with a mini digital video recorder and start making your own extreme sports videos today! Record every event, from your own perspective, and enjoy them yourself and with your friends and family!

Just remember, safety first!

What Makes A Sport Extreme?

Published on April 21, 2008 by admin

What exactly is an “extreme” sport, and why in the world would anyone want to try them?

Well, an extreme sport could be considered anything that provides the participant with that extra adrenaline rush, often from some added element of danger, whether it’s height, speed, or intensity.

Take biking, for an example. Typically, people get on a regular road bike or mountain bike, strap on their helmet and start riding. The extreme sports enthusiast would be likely to take this activity a step further, riding their mountain bike through varied and difficult terrain, or riding at speeds that most would consider at least scary, if not downright unsafe.

Regular people may hike up a mountain, with a small backpack full of maps, snacks, and water. Extreme sports enthusiasts climb to the highest peaks, often requiring special grappling equipment, ropes, and crampons to keep them from falling off the side of the mountain.

Amazing Footage

Sure, regular people can record their “adventures,” if you want to call them that, using camcorders and showing people at their next party. The extreme sports enthusiast is usually the one who invests in cool gadgets, like helmet cams and mini personal digital video recorders, to film the amazing footage of their adventures.

Obviously, these videos are far more interesting than the ones of Uncle Charlie sitting and relaxing in his canoe with a fishing pole.

Recording Safely

Even the craziest extreme sports enthusiasts should be considering safety during their adventures.

Although these people may often seem reckless, there is a lot of thought, planning, and preparation that usually must accompany any extreme sport, because of the added element of danger. Using the wrong equipment, using worn equipment, or sometimes even one wrong or careless move, can mean the difference between success and catastrophe during an extreme sports adventure.

So, while a typical, old-fashioned camcorder setup can be fine for a regular “outdoorsman,” the extreme sports enthusiast should be investing in a helmet cam and mini digital video recorder, to ensure a fully hands-free operation while recording.

The mini DVR can be recording continuously, but tucked away into a pocket. It’s important to limit any extra distractions, and most extreme sports nuts will not actually have a free hand available to hang onto a video camera.

Seeing is Believing

When you record your very own extreme sports videos, you will have the footage available to watch over and over, and also to finally be able to show your friends and family just what all the excitement is about!

The recording from the helmet cam shows a perspective that, before, could only be experienced by the participant. New gadgets and new technology offer the opportunity to share the experience with everyone.
