1. Xsession

Xsession.com is a great extreme sport communtity site based in Australia. Check it for event listings, videos, photos and articles on a big list of extreme sports.

2. BBC Devon

The BBC is of course the world standard in “news”. We love the articles and videos here on the section of the BBC called Devon. For some well produced segments on a variety of sport, browse on over and enjoy.

3. Extreme Sports Channel

According to Extreme.com: “The Extreme Sports Channel is the only 24-7 channel bringing you skate, surf, snow and bike action and attitude direct to your TV in over 50 countries around the world.” We like them because they have lots of up-to-date content… events, videos, etc. Cool site!

4. EXPN.com (of course)

EXPN.com is the granddaddy of extreme sports sites and we love it. No where else will you find the level of insight into the world of extreme sports than you’ll find at EXPN.com. Hey, they have thousands of people working for them, international crews, and illions of dollars in video equipment; they better produce some killer content, right?

5. Extreme Sport Videos on Joost.com

After installing a simple plugin, Joost.com gives you access to loads of professional quality, free video. They have a dedicated channel for extreme sports and we have seen things there that we haven’t seen anywhere else, not even on YouTube.com. For the real extreme sporter, Joost is a must… besides, you also get access to all the other cool content too.

In keeping with the 2008 Olympic theme for this week, we have an interesting factoid for you climbers out there. According to the Olympic.org website, Climbing and Mountaineering is an officially recognised (recognized) sport by the International Olympic Committee.
